Just a quick update. I'm home and just had the first shower in a while. That felt good. I took my pants off and they got up and walked over to the clothes hamper and jumped in! D'oh! The kids continue their remarkable progress. Margot is now off oxygen! That means they are now completely off all types of support. They now only have two IVs each (but they haven't been used in a long time) and receive lasix (a diuretic) to remove fluids around the lungs and heart (just normal post-operative surgical responses) and Tylenol for pain. That's it.
They are getting lots of therapy already (physical and occupational) and Evelyne and the gals are giving breast feeding a go. So far so good.
That's it for now. I'm off to the hospital to see the ladies....
